Occupational Therapist Jobs

An occupational therapist is responsible for planning occupational therapy programs; requisitioning and utilizing various resources to support the program needs; handling administrative issues specific to the occupational therapist role; keeping the premises and equipments clean; participating in preparation of functional documents; attending client case conferences as needed; attending staff meetings and continuing education programs in the area of occupational therapy; promoting personal safety and safe environment for clients and coworkers; assisting the program manager; solving doubts of clients; working on special projects and performing several other tasks assigned by occupational therapy manager. An occupational therapist typically reports to an occupational therapy supervisor.
An occupational therapist should have a four-year degree in a relevant area. A master's degree is advantageous. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience gained from an occupational therapist role might help.
